KION
Kion is our orange kitty. He was a rescue who had been placed in a foster home while waiting for his forever home. He was 2 years old when he came into our life and quite skiddish. We often wonder what his past life was like and it makes us sad thinking about it. He has been part of our family for 10 months and is getting much more comfortable. He enjoys scratches from the grownups as long as he doesn’t have to come too close. His favorite person is our teenage son. Kion sleeps in our son’s room at night and will sometimes wake him in the middle of the night, by licking his hair. Our teenager is the only one who is allowed to pick him up. Kion loves to watch the goings-on in the house from a safe distance and is also very talkative. If anyone is sitting down, he will walk into the room and tell his humans a whole story and then sit there and wait for us to tell him one back. He is a very silly boy.
Did you know that Simba’s son from The Lion King is named Kion? That’s where he got his name.
MOLLY
Molly is our 3 month old Goldendoodle puppy. She arrived with us at 8 weeks old and it was love at first sight for all of us. Training has been quite an experience over the past few weeks, but she wants to learn so that makes it easier. Her favorite spot to rest is on her momma’s feet. Molly wants to be best friends with Kion, but he prefers watching her from a distance. We hope that one day they will start to become good friends.
